It also introduced Tren Maya Conecta to link stations with the airport and other destinations.
That makes the train interesting, but not automatically effortless. You must match a limited departure, reach the Cancún Airport train station, and arrange the remaining trip from the Playa del Carmen station to Playacar. A flight delay or midday arrival can remove the train from consideration entirely.
